Submitted form 4 Sept. 1, still no charge on CC?
Just trying to find out if this is typical? When I look at the timing thread, I see people who submit their paperwork having the charge (or check cashed) days later. It's been months on mine. I submitted through a local dealer for 3 suppressors via a trust, none of them have been charged to my CC. Anyone been in a similar situation? I don't know what to do except keep waiting...
Thanks.

Have you asked the dealer?

Just asking for clarification, because I wasn't aware that a CC was a payment option to the ATF. I had inquired about using a CC for the $200 tax, and I believe my dealer said if I chose to go that route they would process my card and then write their own check to send with the form 4. I opted to use a personal check. I could be totally wrong about the payment options as it has been quite a while since I made my purchase.

Repeatedly. They said that until the ATF processes my payment that there isn't anything they can 'check' on to make sure all is well.
It is a field on the form 4, that allows you to fill out your CC information for the payment. The dealer suggested this was fine, so it's the route I took.

You could always call and ask. prerecorded message says you supposed to wait 5 months, but they usually pretty helpful.

Just wanted to update this thread for anyone who wandered by...the ATF finally processed my payments on 12/14. In my mind that means an approval is pending..but now that I know how this goes I'll probably be waiting another year lol.

Took me almost a year to transfer a mac10 in my name. That was about 5yrs ago. I remember a friend
got his stamp back in 3weeks from when he first mailed it out.

If they just cashed your check it just went pending. You may have a bit to wait yet
