Default We're taking down the NRA in Virginia. Can you help? Everytown.... Gun banners!

FYI for those interested in Everytown for Gun Confiscation
Apparently Bloomberg is dropping more money in VA to go after Pro-2nd amendment candidates.

We're taking down the NRA in Virginia. Can you help?

"Whatever it takes" started as Andy Parker's call to action when his daughter Alison was shot on live television.

Now we're taking that call to action straight into next month's elections in Virginia -- the backyard of the NRA's headquarters -- and doing whatever it takes to defeat NRA-backed candidates. With your help, we have a real shot of winning a gun sense majority in the State Senate.

Supporters like you from across the country can use our tool to send a FREE personalized postcard directly to voters in Virginia to remind them to vote for gun sense candidates in the election in less than two weeks.

The postcards will be personalized with your name and picture, so that voters in Virginia know there are thousands of real, like-minded supporters from around the country who believe in electing lawmakers who'll stand up for common-sense gun laws.

Our hope is to flood homes with these "please vote" reminders right as we're calling voters, going door-to-door to hand out fliers, and running ads against NRA-backed candidates.

It's never easy to take on entrenched gun lobby-backed candidates -- but it's especially difficult in a non-presidential election year when not everyone will remember to vote. Sending a postcard is quick, easy, and totally free -- and it could make a difference in these tight races.

Thanks for getting involved. We're grateful for your help in this important election!

Bloomberg gun-safety group bankrolls $700K ad buy in critical Va. Senate race

RICHMOND — A gun-safety group launched by former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg is weighing into a critical Virginia Senate race with a $700,000 ad buy, featuring the father of a Roanoke TV journalist who was shot to death on the air in August.

From Thursday through Election Day, Everytown for Gun Safety will bankroll TV, radio and online ads for Democrat Dan Gecker. He is in a tight race against Republican Glen Sturtevant for the suburban Richmond seat being vacated by retiring Sen. John C. Watkins (R-Powhatan).

The race is one of a handful expected to decide control of the closely divided state Senate. The outcome will probably determine whether Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D), already without leverage in the GOP-dominated House, has any sway with the legislature for the remaining two years of his term.

The size of the ad buy — it approaches the $772,000 that Sturtevant’s whole campaign raised through September, and more than half of the $1.2 million that Gecker took in — reflects the enormous stakes the Senate race has for McAuliffe. His ability to deliver Virginia for his good friend and presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016 will be in question if Democrats cannot win control of the Senate this year.

    This is brilliant.

And we continue to do nothing. We are not going to last long if this goes on unchallenged.

I wonder if gun owners will start paying attention when Virginia falls. Nothing has gotten their attention so far, it seems.

One would be naive to think that votes still count these days. The government is beyond corrupt and millions of new democrats are being imported by Obummer every month. I think gun owners are paying attention. We are coming to realize that we are quickly becoming a minority whether we vote or not. When you are the only one that plays by the rules, you lose. The best we can do is educate others, take people to the range, keep buying guns and ammo, and practicing.
