"America could never be like that"
I keep saying this to people who say "America can't become a tyranny"; that Germany in the 1930's was the birthplace of Bach and Beethoven, they had great schools and great roads and a very law-abiding citizenry, who dutifully filled out census forms that asked detailed questions about race and religion, and obeyed gun registration laws. They had advanced technology that benefited the world. And inside of one generation they went to war against the world and exterminated every Jew and Gypsy and queer and cripple that they could get their hands on. And this fundamental transformation was all justified by national socialism, which always embraces campaign restrictions and abortions and gun control and governmental control of the economy and making people do what the government thinks they should do in exchange for meeting the needs that the government thinks you should have.
I seriously doubt that any nation is more than 1 generation away from Orwellian fascism. And you can spot the worst tyrants because they always target the young, because they're so naive and persuadable.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com

Yep, just take note of who is/has been backing the Dems; the icons the 'utes of America look up to these days. Katy Perry may be hot, but hot for Hellary makes her a NOT for me.
And as for Germany and gun control; seem to recall how a handful of my fellow Pollocks in Warsaw with meager small arms gave the Germans enough shit to tie up valuable units to do partisan extermination duties. The Carson attackers ignore that...All of my guns are lubed with BACON GREASE.

Re: "America could never be like that"
We had a Constitution that had words in it that would prevent tyrants from taking control. The problem is not enough people that can prevent it vote or even participate a little. The people that want the government to adhere to the Constitution are called kooks and fringe extremists in the leftist press. The jobs of people that once made this country great are sent overseas so we can have cheap products shipped to us according to the rinos. Our immigration system is being over run with new voters that want free stuff and when called on it you are a bigot and a racist.
I ask all active duty military personnel, veterans and others that have taken up arms in defense of this nation "did you risk life and limb and watch others lose their lives for this?" Are we really the kooks that they say we are because we want the Constitution which is the supreme law of the land adhered to? Think to yourselves, "is this really how we want our country to go?" We've had a pseudo communist leading our nation for the last seven years and another one in the batter's box warming up. Is this what we want? It seems that counting votes has become an art form. Take careful consideration and think about where this country is heading and what you want for you children and grandchildren.Corruption is the default behavior of government officials. JPC

What power do the people really have anymore? The vote? Elect one player of a corrupt system over another. Or that many keep getting reelected and spend their lives in a system that has gotten too big and too powerful.
Politicians openly break the law, lie or are dismissive about it on national tv and their allies in the media support and continue the narrative. Any threat is quickly discredited and runoff.

Re: "America could never be like that"
The US Government exterminated how many Native Americans?
The US Government broke how many treaties with the Indian Nations?
The US Government tossed native born Americans into Concentration Camps based upon President Roosevelt's Executive Order 9066. The persons tossed into jail had their lands stolen. The US Supreme Court in Korematsu vs US upheld this tyranny.
One of the promoters of 9066, California Attorney General Earl Warren, became Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court.
In Korea US Strategic Air Command bombed the North. They killed one in five North Koreans through bombing and destroying paddy dikes, which caused a famine.
In Vietnam the US killed 4,000,000 Vietnamese. Vietnam was no threat to the US.
The US EPA under William Ruckleshaus banned DDT. There was little scientific evidence for this ban. 35,000,000 Africans, mostly children, died of Malaria.
Today one in every three pregnancies of African American women end in abortion. In New York City it's one in two. The most dangerous place for an African American is inside of their own Mother.
What do all of these dead have in common? They couldn't fight back with firearms, except the Native Americans, who required an Army to do the job.
Private gun ownership do not prevent tyranny thought it discourages genocide. Jews in every nation in Continental Europe were hauled off for extermination except in Switzerland. Any Jew who got to Switzerland and who got sanctuary was safe. The Swiss allowed private ownership of firearms. They also had a strong militia. They were not worth the bother to Hitler because he could not spare the manpower to conquer Switzerland.
Saddam Hussein's Iraq allowed people to have full automatic firearms. Instead of sending thugs, as he did to people in Kuwait, he had to send in the Army. You can't send the Army everywhere.
What private gun ownership does is make tyranny expensive and painful for the Government. They have to justify sending in armed forces instead of punks with clipboards and a rule book.
