    Default Petition to repeal NFA

    https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/repeal-nfa

If nothing else if it was repealed not only would people not have to wait months for builds and save $ on the stamps, but I bet we'd see the prices of NFA items would come down significantly.

I don't know if the website is broken, people aren't clicking the confirmation emails, or everyone is just resting on their laurels since Trump is in, but I can't believe this isn't at it's goal yet.

Bingo, no one is clicking the confirmation emails. It won't finalize until you do so.

BUT... Looking at the petitions, all the stuff that's over goal is the crazy libtard stuff while most conservative issues languish.

E.g. here's another one with only a few signatures: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pet...-united-states

Left is still better at rallying their troops behind this sort of thing (even if I'm not sure it much matters)

It'd be much more interesting if you could "downvote" them too. More of a referendum than a petition...

It is pretty amazing that it only has 11,000 signatures, when it's posted multiple times on every popular firearm forum I've seen and all over facebook etc.

It's also surprising to me that a petition with only 11,000 signatures is #7 in the list by votes.

I bet that a lot of folks that want to repeal the NFA are also of the mindset that they don't want to post their info to a .gov website. How do you get them on board?
