My spare Remington 870 with a factory Remington 14" barrel with low profile sights that I got on gun broker. One round magazine extension and youth butt stock from fleabay. Four month wait from big brother for a tax stamp.

I've got an 870 on order now. Once it comes in I've been debating the factory 14 or if I cut the barrel on it to the length of the 4 round tube. I'm leaning that way.

Yeah, I have a spare 18" BBL I was considering cutting down but decided not to. It comes in handy from time to time. I could sell the original 28" to recoup some costs but will hang on to it for now. I went with 14" because I was scared I or someone else might blow my/their thumb off with a 13" barrel in a forgetful moment. We had those in the AF but they had a shield to help prevent that.
