Nockamixon Twp Noise Ordinance/ Gun Control Meeting

I caught wind that Nockamixon Twp. is going to hold a public meeting to address a new noise ordinance and or discharge ordinance. The meeting is tomorrow at 7pm at 589 Lake Warren Road, Upper Black Eddy 18972.

Nockamixon Twp. has no local police. PSP does not enforce local ordinances anywhere, anytime. They can pass all the ordinances they want but complying with them is voluntary or basically on the honor system.

Such things would be enforced via $$$$ at the civil court. It would be the same thing as if you violated a HOA or deed restrictions on your property.

Someone COULD sue you basing it on the local ordinances.


PSP, as stated, are not going to enforce them. They have more important things to be doing.....

problem is the area has filled up with people from the suburbs and the cities who wanted to live in the "quiet country"...there is a guy down the road who runs a bed and breakfast, and a guy across the street both of whom are from Jersey who were absolutely appalled that people shoot guns up here...

The B&B guy actually drives up the road on a golf cart and will glare at me from the road until I am done shooting...

Tell him he can fund supressors for you if the noise bothers him that much. =]
