CCW in Macy's
According to this WSJ article: http://blogs.wsj.com/corporate-intel...-their-stores/
“Macy’s recognizes the sensitivity of this issue and the potential impact on our customers. At this time Macy’s does not plan to post signs banning firearms. However, we will continue to evaluate our position as laws are implemented.”
Well I went to the Macy's at Waterfront Mall in Homestead and noticed a small "No Smoking, Photography, Handguns" sign at the entrance.
Kind of interesting, considering this just happened this summer:

I think we have a case of mistaken identity here. Not Macy's Dept. Store....... Maceys Groceries......

I'm pretty sure there is a reason why it is called 'concealed carry'...

Re: CCW in Macy's
Why what is called "concealed carry"? If you mean that concealed carry is called "concealed carry", well, yes.
But plenty of people carry firearms more or less openly, without any pretense of concealing them. And that's not called "concealed carry".
Also, saying "it is called 'concealed carry'" doesn't constitute any sort of legal defense to the crime of defiant trespass.I am not a lawyer. Nothing I say or write is legal advice.

Re: CCW in Macy's
A place called TEXAS Roadhouse doesn't want your guns in their business. Rename them to Jersey Roadhouse, that's a disgraceful use of the great name of Texas.
Read this liberalsexual garbage:
“It can be disconcerting to guests and employees who are not familiar with the law to see someone carrying a firearm,” says Travis Doster, spokesman for steak chain Texas Roadhouse Inc. He said guests with children sometimes complain to restaurant managers when they see people with guns, in which case the manager asks the gun-wearing customer to put the gun in his car.
“It can be a difficult conversation to have, but for the most part people understand,” Mr. Doster said. “We did have an issue in Michigan, where the manager asked someone to take their gun outside and the person wasn’t happy.”
He said the customer sent a letter to the corporate office threatening to post messages online accusing Texas Roadhouse of being antigun, but Mr. Doster said the company reached out to him and explained that seeing the gun was disturbing to families and that the man said he understood.

Is it just open carry they are objecting to or all carry. I've eaten at a couple different ones and I have never seen a "no guns" sign anywhere. I can't really recall if I've oc'ed or concealed when I've been in them, but just by the frequency I oc, I'd say it's a good bet I've done it there.
