Default Probably a dumb double action question

So.. I mostly have single action revolvers and don't know a ton about doubles. I've only ever owned two doubles, one of which I no longer have and don't remember much about. Anyways, my question is about my new Ruger Redhawk. It's the 5032 chambered in 45 ACP/ 45 Colt so the cylinder is cut to accept moon clips. My question is this: Should the rims of loaded rounds be able to audibly and visibly slide back from their chambers and hit the frame when the gun cylinder is closed? I noticed this when I would move the gun when loaded and there was a lot of excessive noise. There is no/ very little space between the frame and the chamber of the round being fired, but there is with the other five chambers. I tried doing a google search, but I wasn't sure what terms to use and kept getting weird results. Any wisdom would be appreciated, thanks!

Thanks, I was a little anxious. Didn't want to send yet another gun back to Ruger

If they were all tight a little dirt would bind the cylinder.

I understand that, but an eighth of an inch seems excessive. My singles are much tighter and don't have too many problems. Unless I don't seat a primer fully, which I've never done of course

If you look closely you will notice the the recoil shield (the part that keeps the bullets from falling out when not in the firing position) is tapered slightly away from the area where the firing pin is. The cartridge that is in position to be fired moves very little and certainly not an eighth of an inch.

In my original post I specified that the cartridge being fired was not the one moving.
