Swiftwater Gun Shop closed
The shop that was open on 611 across from the recycling center and DNCR seems to be gone...I even saw the crew at Split Rock gun show a while back, too bad it didn't work out.

Noticed that too. You have a new shop down in Scotrun by Plaza Deli. Stopped in the other day, prices were high, good selection, transfers are $25.

Re: Swiftwater Gun Shop closed
New shop is a bit nicer with bathroom facilities that work, that was a big problem at the old location according to owner.Prices are still high with some room for negotiating. For instance a Used S&W Sigma with one mag for $359 when you can get them NIB from almost anywhere for $309 free shipping.I stop from time to time in case a sought after firearm appears ! JMO/MDT

ok so it's the same people? just moved down the road a little? need to stop by and check it out...gun shops like gun shows always have high prices, they are usually negotiable, they need to pay the bills and make a profit, can't blame them for that

checked it out yesterday and it seems like it's the same shop, Pocono Mountain Firearms, just moved south about a mile on 611 between the Sunoco and the Scotrun Diner...they are closed on Tuesdays so I couldn't go in...I also noticed another gun shop further south in Tannersville behind the DQ...didn't stop in there either but it looks to be in business
