Recieved a reply that carry either open or with LTCF......were still fine but their regulations are confusing.

Re: New regs for State Forest...
Carrying is okay, but using is somewhat regulated.
At least that's my interpretation.

Re: New regs for State Forest...
I don't see the word possession anywhere in there... just "use".

Yep, I always read the big rules board when I get to a State park and they always say DISCHARGE of a firearm is prohibited, but nothing is said about possession. Dog training is also prohibited.

Here is a link to the Park Regs regarding firearms:
http://www.pacode.com/secure/data/01...1/s11.215.html
The key is subsection 4 regarding "uncased". The bureau of parks sees OC as an uncased device. To be clear, I'm not saying I agree with that, or defending it, just clarifying.
Dog training is fine in any area open to hunting from the day after Labor Day to March 31st. If you have other questions about the rules and regs for the bureau of parks PM me.

by the Department.

How do you use a firearm without discharging or propelling a projectile?

Re: New regs for State Forest...
So is pooping in the woods considered discharging or propelling a projectile?
Because Failure Is Not An Option

Re: New regs for State Forest...
depends on if you are propelling a poop or just letting it ease on out and if your turd is a scary enough to be considered a projectile.
It seems highly necessary that some thing shou'd be done to maintain the liberty - G.W.

Rules should be written in a language people can understand, but then what would we do with all the lawyers?
