    OP is asking about Federal sites, such as the Liberty Bell. They used to have a metal detector there, post 9/11. I believe it is gone now, but there is still a security checkpoint. This would apply to Independence Hall as well. Another no-go would be the US Mint.

    Betsy Ross House, Franklin Court are open areas. The Constitution Center is privately owned, no security stations.

    Secamp, how long will you be in town, what do you want to see?

    The trip got postponed. The son is applying to Penn but we are going to see if he gets in before touring.
