Re: Battle Packs - the Poor Man's Version
I need to sort and label my cans. Anything could be anywhere. Cans get heavy real quick. There has to be a better way.

Re: Battle Packs - the Poor Man's Version
I've bought quite a few over the past few months, for reasons. Other than one that was broken from the factory (and I'd missed because I had bought 9 that day) I've had no issues with weight. A few are loaded quite substantially too.

I'll take airtight to water resistant any day.
I only have two plastic boxes - essentially just used to carry ammo to the range.
They have no value as ammo storage as they are not air tight.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

The Plano ones will bow out the bottom if you load them up with enough ammo. Haven't had one burst yet though.

Re: Battle Packs - the Poor Man's Version
I filled one of the HF ones with 230gr .45ACP (at least 600 rounds) and it didn't have any issues. Definitely heavy though.
