i knew canada and saudi arabia were the top 2.

i had no idea that mexico was so high on the list, though...

i would have guessed venezuela as number 3.

I was discussing this with a colleague last week at a meeting. He's based in Canada. Jokingly, I told him that it will be sad to invade his country; though, it won't just be about oil... We agreed the cheaper Molson and bacon are worth a tomahawk or two as well.

Heh, I didn't vote because I knew it.

That is one reason I just SCREAM at the TV NO ASSHOLE we are being held hostage by a government that has debased the US dollar to the point oil now costs $125 a barrel MORON when I hear them saying we are being held hostage by the middle east. The lies they throw out to cover their own asses are just mind boggling.

Look how far down the list Iraq is, yet you'll hear so many saying that the war there is about oil..........

Well I hate to burst your bubble there BUT Iraq has THE 4th largest oil reserves in the world today .. just because we don't import it doesn't mean it isn't there.

    Oil reserves by country: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oil_reserves

It just so happens Iraq's oil exploration, drilling and exporting has been 'controlled' by an agreement from the early 1900s that kept their production low compared to their reserves. Oil companies have been 'licking their chops' to get at Iraq's reserves for many many years now since Saddam nationalized them way back when.

Next one on the list? Venezuela ... Chavez just chucked out almost all the oil companies last year just like Saddam did .... give it time and that will be the next "invasion"

That would take on heck of a stretch to burst his bubble. The was was still not about oil.
