3D Archery Shoots - Mars, PA (Pgh Area) - 8/23, 9/20, 9/27

Mars Rod and Gun Club in Mars, PA (~25mi N of downtown Pittsburgh) is holding three public recreational 3D archery shoots:

• Sunday, August 23
• Sunday, September 20
• Sunday, September 27

All shoots start at 7:00am with the last group permitted to start no later than 11:00am. Cost is $15 per person and includes a lunch of hotdogs, chips, and a soft drink.

Course is a wooded trail with 30 animal targets including deer, bear, hog, coyote, sheep, and a few surprises. Yardages vary between 15yds and 40yds with some shots up and down hills.

The club is working to revitalize its archery program. The shoot is informal, relaxed, and all skill levels are welcome. This event would be great for youth shooters and those new to 3D archery (or archery at all).
