Bonding sheepskin

Do any of you have recommendations for bonding a piece of sheepskin fleece to the skin side of an IWB holster? I'd like it to be removable so I can wash the sheepskin without wetting the holster, but Velcro will add too much bulk. I was thinking small dots of a semi-permanent adhesive at strategic locations which could be carefully cut free. Not even sure this experiment will work but the moleskin I've been using just doesn't give the comfort I'm looking for especially on hot days with perspiration.

Double sided tape maybe? It could be peeled off without damaging the holster or the back of the sheepskin.

Available at Lowes, Home Depot, etc.

Maybe rubber cement, the kind that you can peel off when it dries. Like they use on a lot of junk mail or to attach magnets to phone books.
Cheap and easy to try. Test with a small piece first!

Question. Sheep skin is thick, isn't this going to be a problem jammed in your paints?
I think wool on skin is going to get uncomfortable.

Well, I can't say you're wrong. I CAN say I've read of others trying it with success, and I can say "nothing ventured-nothing gained". What I don't like is soggy moleskin and peeling moleskin which adheres to my skin. I also don't like smooth leather which bonds to my skin and pulls little pieces of skin off with it as I move.

The skin itself is pretty thin, being belly scraps which are not as thick as the rest of the sheep hide. It's the fleece itself which I may have to buzz back to a more manageable pile. Stay tuned for results.
