Decided to make an operating mock up of a wet tumbler. Total cost to me was about $8

That is very cool. Good job.

I made an offer in a similar thread to a user and he either didn't read it or didn't want it. But I have a motor that's just a little bigger than that with a pulley attached. Anyone that wants it they can have it, if you come pick it up it's free, if you want it shipped, pay for shipping. Probably weighs around 10lbs.

Very nice....I love the home made stuff myself, especially if it works well.

Have a step by step on parts and how you built it?

I had most of it laying around my shop. Some stuff I was able to get from my PT job as a plumber. My father had about 8 of those motors in a cabinet for his machinery when he passed.

I really didn't do a step by step. I was bored, went into the shop and threw it together in about an hour. I plan on stripping everything off to clean it up and slap a coat of paint on it.

The only thing I bought specific for this was the cord for the power.

Just a quick picture. Did all that in one shot with room for more. Works great.
