New Holland
Has anyone heard about an existing or proposed new gun store/indoor range in the area of New Holland?

Re: New Holland
The Sportsman Shop that was right on Route 23 has moved to the old bowling alley up in Blue Ball. Is that what you're talking about? I haven't heard of anything new opening.

Re: New Holland
I have to get there and check it out. A bunch of my sons friends are asking about taking them shooting. They're encouraging me in my opinion of their generation. I hear them talk about race issues, police shootings, Furgeson and other topics. My son has a diverse group of friends. They talk about personal responsibility, thinking for yourself and have a lot of common sense. Sometimes they side with the cop or protester or person that was shot and other times the other way around. The important thing is they think and aren't just repeating others. They back up their position. Good kids

Re: New Holland
I went there today. Well lit and clean but they don't have enough inventory to justify the space. The guns are spread out on 3 walls behind glass (there is an open rack for used long guns, but they only had 5 there today). So if you want to look at anything you need to get a salesman to give it to you. They also no longer sell cases of ammo like they used to, which was about the only point of going there. The range looked nice enough, but the ammo you have to buy to shoot on it is expensive as hell. The guns you can rent are just run of the mill stuff, a bunch of pistols and a few AR's. Reading the range rules on their website it's pretty apparent that they are just another "squeeze you for every penny you're worth" indoor range. It's only worth stopping in at if you're driving past, don't make a special trip.

Re: New Holland
Can you only shoot ammo you purchase there? If so does this apply to your own firearms or only rental firearm? For example Trop lets you use your ammo in your guns, but requires you buy their ammo for use in rental guns. To a degree I can understand this policy to prevent damage to their rental guns. Thanks.
