Looks like there are some used older Remington 1100s ( when Remington was Remington....note possibly 2 3/4 only depending on what you are hunting) on Gunbroker for around $400

This guy has a buy it now of $399 with free shipping

My Father always liked the Remington 1100's and owned about 5 of them. I still have one from the 1960's and have gotten it highly customized by Mike LaRocca, LaRoccca Gunworks. It rarely fails and is very accurate. In nearly fifty years of use I can count on one hand the number of times I have had a minor problem with it.
