I admit to being pretty tough on some of my equipment. Nothing I have is pricey enough to be babied and that's the way I like it. I am a little bummed about this one though. I like front sight posts and I've tried unsuccessfully to swap them from barrel to barrel before and it never seems to work out. I tend to steady the rifle on whatever is available and today it happen to be concrete slabs. I was primarily using the EOTech so I'm not exactly even sure how or when it happened but you can see from the forend that there were a few instances where it was possible. I'll probably just screw in another post and be done.

Is it the OP claim that a .223/5.56 has enough recoil to break an ear off a front sight post? Looks more like it was used to stir a bucket of bricks. Can we get a video of bripro's practice? Something is telling me it's priceless.
