hummm, no one into the blues? Did I mention it's a free concert? 9 bands one each hour from 11 am to 8 pm. Oh well, we'll be heading up there soon.

I love the blues. Unfortunately haveing a 2 1/2 year old son makes it kinda hard to make a trip like that.
Have a great time and let me know what I missed. Who is the mystery guest?

Had I read this prior to heading down their I would have looked for you, just FYI, I was the big guy sitting on the back of the Ambulance for 9 hours...I thought that it was a good event, it sounds like they are going to keep improving since the turnout was pretty good with the rain.

The mystery guest was Todd Wolfe, former lead guitar player for Sheryl Crow, and his band called ... "WOLFE" and they were good, my favorite was Mr. Z, an old time blues guy.

I saw you, thought to myself, that guy must be totally bored, I was even a few feet from you under the picnic table pavilion, I had a Harley tank top and camo shorts and you were chatting with the fire police guys.

It was truly a good time, I can't believe they did that for free, 9 bands, lots of raffled off guitars, definitely a good time.

I thought that was you from the pics I've seen on here, but I didn't want to seem like a tool if I said hello and it was just some random guy that would have no idea what I was talking about. They are hopefully going to have another one next year, I didn't think I was going to like a lot of the music, but it was pretty decent. If I hear word of another one I'll post it up in advance for all that would like to attend, also as a side note, the Fire Company Has a pretty good Carnival every year with an excellent fireworks show on friday and bands every night of the week, but that was two weeks ago (I'll post that next time also)
