Cool Donleys gun shop in new digs!

I just stopped by and found that Donleys Gun Shop has finally moved into their new larger space on 309 just South of Coopersburg or North of Quakertown if you prefer. They are still setting up but are officially back in business. I have always found them nice people to deal with and just wanted to pass this on.

(For you map folks it is 1541 N West End Blvd, Quakertown, PA 18951)

They are great. They did a transfer for me back in April before they were officially open.

They're right next to Bubba's. Even closer to me than thier old (3rd) location.

I've been a happy customer since they were on 313 across from the Wawa in Dublin.

Hope they get more selection, kind of barren in there.

The new shop is really nice and easier to find. I agree on the inventory but lately, I have seen a lot more stuff and they do have the stuff I need when I go shopping (more about supplies vs firearms).

Not impressed. Limited selection, a little on the unfriendly side on my first ever visit.

Your info says you're in Erie County; are you sure you're talking about the right store? Bucks County?

They are somewhat reserved people, not dynamic sales people, so they won't schmooze you into a sale from the moment you walk in. They aren't hosting a company bonding retreat, they won't ask about your life goals or offer you a latte; they have guns and accessories for sale and if you ask them questions I've always found that they will answer.

It was a little better when Dusty was there; he was a good dog. But all gun shops are places that sell machines to explosively punch holes through paper or deer or home invaders, so it's difficult to mistake one for a ladies' spa.
