    Default How long to wait before contacting Sheriff's office for paperwork?

    Dropped paperwork off and still have not received it about a week and a half later. How long to wait until I contact the office? I don't want to annoy the Sheriff, yet I also want to get the ball rolling.

    What county? Some take longer than others to do a sign off.

    Took 3-4 weeks for Schuylkill County.

    Schuylkill County...same. Dropped off Friday before Memorial Day. Got it back towards the end of June.

    Berks is pretty quick. Sheriff Weaknecht responds to emails personally as well. The last time I was in there, he was in the office & signed it right away for me. I'd say a couple weeks isn't out of line though. Get ready to wait some more.
