Wink Talk me out of my first AR!

I thinking of getting a Rock River Arms Entry Tactical in 5.56 with the chrome lined barrel, weaver gas block, and removable carry handle. Then one day I can put a scope on it or one of those fancy red dots.

I really like it so can someone point out some bad things. Maybe I should get a longer barrel or some different accesories. Maybe a different brand?

Not getting any help from me, any AR is better than no AR.

I took my new Sig 556 and RRA 20" A3 to the range this week. My Sig's front sight adjustment screw broke, and the "HOLO" sight that it came with was too dim to use at an outdoor range. I almost got booted off the range for shooting without sights. I took out my Rock River and had it sighted in @ 100 yards within 10 rounds. I played at 100 yds. for a while and went to 200 yards after I heated up the barrel a bit. The more that I shot the RRA, the better it shot. I was well within 3" at 200 yards just casually ahooting with old surplus ammo and iron sights.

If I were you I would get the Rock River, (consider a 20" depending on what you will use it for) TODAY!

Black rifle disease, (if left untreated) will develop into gunwhoredom.

    Here lemme help...

IF YOU BUY AN AR THE KITTEN GETS IT!

The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

    Gun slavery
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!” ~Samuel Adams
