Lancaster, sheriff deputy sounded pretty cool and said I might get it the same day. An admin might want to check the locations tab. 3 said they were good and they didn't even take applications. Thanks

It sounds like a wise choice to me (to leave your hand gun at home).

However, the (possibly) good news is that things may change for those of us seeking a non-resident PA carry permit now that Kathleen Kane, the FORMER Attorney General, resigned "after being convicted of perjury, conspiracy, and other charges." (NY Times, 8/17/16) Mark, at the Wallenpaupack Sports Shop, said a year ago that she would never get re-elected and that licensing restrictions could be lifted. But i'll bet he never saw this coming - even better!

She was elected through the financial backing of former NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg who has been going around the country and providing financial support to those that are anti-gun. Can't help but wonder if the billionaire's bodyguards follow him around unarmed.

I live in NJ and I understand the requirements PA has for non-residents. My issue is it takes an act of congress to get a CCW in NJ. I was told there are 1603 issued in the entire state. In conversation with a Captain in my local PD he stated he had been there for 24 years and had seen only one permit issued. But there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Fly to Texas, take the non resident CCW class and PA will recognize that.

I know it is sometimes easy to mix up acts of payola and corruption with acts of congress, since they are so similar, but it is the former you need in NJ, according to my sources.

Question: If I obtain a non resident CCW from a state that has a reciprocal agreement with PA, should that give me the right to carry in PA?
the CCW app on my phone says it does but .......

If PA accepts that State's non-resident permits yes..

I know that Utah PA only accepts from Utah residents

I do believe NH is the only viable option at this point in time.

That is the one I just got. Took 2 months. I read all the agreements between PA and NH and it appears to be correct.
