Yankee Hill Rail question
I have a few AR's that have the Yankee Hill Free Float rails on them. Does anyone know if you can use the regular AR barrel wrench with the 3 pins to install and remove the Yankee Hill barrel nut? I had one come loose over the weekend and wasn't sure if I needed to drop $40 on their special wrench or if the standard AR style will work correctly.
I know I could just take it apart and try but I'd rather not have the gun laying in pieces for days if the normal wrench isn't going to work."Remember the first rule of gunfighting ... have a gun." Jeff Cooper

Yeah you should still be able to install it. I just used a typical wrench when installing mine. Its the lock ring that their tool helps with.

Ahelm3 thanks for the reply. Just to make sure I'm following you 100% here. Your saying that the regular 3 finger/pin barrel wrench does fit just fine? The lock ring I'm not as concerned about. I have some spanner wrenches that should work.

Re: Yankee Hill Rail question
Correct. That is how I installed mine at least.
