grain weight
Purchasing a Glock 42 that uses 380 ammo.
What grain weight would you suggest for target ammo.
Any brand names come to mind?I'd rather have a gun in my hand then a cop on the phone.

Re: grain weight
Blazer brass is my favorite 380 round for that. I believe it's a 95 grainer. CCI blazer in the aluminum case is good to , probably the same grain.

Re: grain weight
It doesn't really matter. I like to shoot 90gr or heavier ammo. You will find .380 ammo is over priced for what it is. Buy what you can get at a decent price.

Re: grain weight
What ever is the cheapest between 80-95 grains. Just stay away from the steel case stuff.

Re: grain weight
once in awhile I will find some blazer brass for just under 13 dollars a box.
This tickles me to no end as it is normally about 21 to 23 dollars a box.

Re: grain weight
In .380 I buy what I can find, not always a choice.
Most of my ammo supply is 95g and 90g.
I second the brass case preference too.
I've had a lot of Blazer Brass and Remington...both perfect and no jams ever. Those are my top .380 recommendations.
I have some Federal 95g that I just found from Walmart but have not tried it yet. Also have a box of Lawman that I have not tried...just got it because there was a rebate.Last edited by alpacaheat; July 20th, 2015 at 11:29 AM.
