302 Question

I have a 302 question as well. My husband was 302'ed in 2013 even though he told the delegate 2 times he would take the 201. Later, we were told by the state police that he may not have been placed in the PICS database since he had no other record, not even a speeding ticket. The sheriff, however, told us that 302's are always reported. Now my husband wants to get a gun but is terrified of what will happen if he apply's for a permit. Is there anyway to find out if he is on the PICS without him getting into trouble?
