That is absolutely disgusting. Especially when there are eye-witness reports of his saying "Yeah, I shot the motherf***er, and I hope he dies." while in the emergency room being treated for the wounds he received in killing officer Faulkner. These people are just plain evil.

I live on "Clinton St." which intersects "Gore Rd." one block away from me. Think how I feel

They had a building at New York College unofficially named after one of those cop killers from the 60s. Not surprising.

Yikes, Liberal central... On the otherside of the coin, Think we can get a petition going to rename a Street in Philly? I was thinking along the lines of renaming it from Mayor to Prisner 12345.

I not only signed the petition, I made some comments too, and suggested that they name the street in honor of the VICTIM, not the criminal.

    You know..

I have never heard the "other" side of the story. I"ve only heard that Mumia was "framed". Whatever that means. I always wonder what the other side says everytime I go to Geno's. I might look that up next time I have some free time.

On another note, I have heard some of Mumia's "philosophy" as sound bites on some songs, and goddamn, he said some beautiful things. (Nothing related to Officer's Faulkner's death though)

Don't let the quotes fool you, he is a tried and true socialist with communistic leanings. He has also been known to espouse "black nationalist" (AKA) separatist views. The guy is a four square nut job who should no longer be breathing the air of the commonwealth. Don't believe me though, you can find out a lot more at: http://www.justice4danielfaulkner.com/

I've been following this case for YEARS!

On a side note - Icey, you and I think a lot alike. I made the same suggestion.

yeah... although its definitely not the first time that I hear of corrupt cops, internal "hits" and torturing of civilians by police, I'd have to agree with you guys on this one, and say..

Sounds like an interesting case to say the least. Especially after reading that article about PhillyPD Napalming the MOVE house.
