Re: Glass for cz .300wm ultimate hunting rifle for Elk
I use this Leupold scope on one my hunting rifles. 4.5-14 x50 with Boone & Crocket BDC rectile. I absolutely love it.

I think we need an update - did you end up setting up your rifle yet?

Re: Glass for cz .300wm ultimate hunting rifle for Elk
I did! I believe I got the gun in Augusthave out about 60 rounds through it.
I ended up outfitting it with the Burris veracity 3-15x50
The cz .300 shoots like a treat, I'm right around an inch at 100, and have shot out to 400yds, and my groups were a bit smaller then a pie plate, need to keep practicing. Just got in a primos trigger stick 2 that I am going to start practicing with.
I carried the gun in deer season and ended up shooting 2 doe with it, but not very far, 30yds, then maybe 70. Off hand shots right where I was aimin, first time I ever shot anything with a .300, devestating, even compared to my .30-06
I will be back to the range within the next week or so and I will post some pictures of the rig and grouping.
Now it's practice practice practice!

That's great! 300wm is a great flat shooting round and it is definitely a bad day for anything on the other end.
