Bad deal with 5george31.

He listed a pistol for sale for 500 dollars. I contacted him and offered to buy it for his asking price and cost of shipping. He didn't respond. I contacted him numerous times via e-mail and private messages to complete the transaction, but he did not reciprocate. Why offer a gun for sale, and then not sell it? He didn't even give an explanation!

I don't like interacting with people who don't treat others with decency and a little respect. Be forewarned of this if dealing with 5george31.

Very late posting on this thread so sorry.

Purchased an AR from 5George31. PM correspondence was good/always replied within 12 hours. No problem providing additional pictures/info when asked. Flexible when arranging to meet. Did the deal, nice guy and very happy with my purchase.

I tried to buy a pistol from one of his adds. We talked via private message. At first he seemed like a normal transaction. He then would tell me he would get back to me later in the day when we/I planned to meet him and then would not message back for several days. I offered him his asking price on a pistol and he said he wanted more money for the pistol after going back and forth when we would meet up. He then went on to say he didn't want to sell the pistol at this time. I contacted him about 4-5 weeks later and asked if he was ready to sell the pistol and he said he sold it already. To this day his add is still up for this pistol. PM me if you have questions. This person was not offensive yet very unreliable and cost me time and efforts.
