I have to agree, the ad to content ratio (once I found a link that worked for me) seemed to be about 17 minutes of ads, and 60 seconds of "we'll tell you about traffic and news in a minute, but first..."
If Kim was on, I missed it. But from around 4:48 to 5:00, that station is crap.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com

Re: Kim Stolfer on radio addresssing Gun Control Ordinance Preemption Law Struck Down
Unfortunately, the ruling was correct.
However, the prior law still prohibited municipalities from enacting local laws on the subject matter. And any violation of the UFA is a 1st degree misdemeanor, unless noted otherwise.
What we need to do is have "victims of local ordinances" to sue against any existing ordinances, and to petition for criminal prosecution of those who enact such things. If a local DA is unwilling to prosecute, then we need to petition the respective court for a special prosecutor. Municipalities and their elected/appointed officials know that state law prohibits them, so conspiracy charges are also involved.
Existing state law clearly prohibits municipalities from making law. The UFA not only is binding against the People, it is also binding against state and local governments.Last edited by knight0334; June 29th, 2015 at 12:15 PM.

Re: Gun Control Ordinance Preemption Law Struck Down
Why is it every time the left passes legislation it stays, but when we get something done it's thrown out?
I'm sick of this bullshit

Interesting. I fly-on-the-wall can see them talking among themselves and coming up with, "Vote for it. It will get the gun nuts off our tails for a while, and it will collapse under judicial scrutiny in short time".

Never attribute to malice what can be explained by ineptitude.
Our state government has much less Machiavelli, and a lot more Three Stooges going on. Add to that the monomaniacal obsession by some with implementing a deep-pockets law that would get them paid by municipalities, and it's no wonder that they trampled other worthwhile goals in their mad push to get this law passed.
In a perfect world, those with influence would re-examine the motives and competence of their trusted advisers, because they are being ill-served by them so far.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com

And Obamacare was a tax bill that didn't originate in the House like the Constitution requires. What do you think would happen if somebody brought that up at the Supreme Court?
"Congressional rules are Congress' business." THAT's what would happen.
He's absolutely right. The left passes unconstitutional laws by unconstitutional means all the time and they always stick.
