    Default OC'ed at Car show

Family decided to go to the muscle car show in Hatfield today. OCed my GP100.

Walked by two Hatfield LEOs 4 ft. Away, and not a word was said. Got a few looks from people who had NY plates. One guy actually gave me a thumbs up. He then said, 'carrying right out in the open; I appreciate that!'. I gave a thumbs up back and said thank you.

Good day today for the 2nd amendment

You must spread some reputation around before giving it American1776 again.
Kudos for for being a wheel-gun-wearing ambassador.

That was me who gave you the thumbs up. Couldn't miss that big wheel gun you were carrying. Surprised you didn't get more comments.

Love wheel guns. I normally carry an HK P7, but i still go back to the revolver quite often. I figured since it was a muscle car show, I'd keep things a little more traditional with a six-gun.

Got no other comments the whole day; just a few 'looks'.

Thanks! I love s&w revolvers too, especially the older ones. This Match Champion balances and handles like a K-FRAME, but has the durability that Ruger is noted for. It weighs a nimble 37.5 ounces, that's only 1 ounce more than a K-FRAME model 10! And it's 3 ounces lighter than an L-frame 686 with 4 inch barrel. I shoot the NUCLEAR 125 gr. JHP from Underwood, which clock an unbelievable 1700 ft/s from a 5 inch barrel. From the Match Champion 4 inch tube, I'd wager they run an honest 1600 and change. It's my carry load.
