Default A good way to sell an AK-47?

Just as the title states. I bought a new AK 47 and I never fired it. Do any of you know a place/shop in Central PA that would buy one from me, or any sites that do firearm sales? Forgive me if I sound green, but I'm new to the selling aspect of the game. Thanks in advance!

Good way would be to post a pic and list a price for it, many here are on the buying side of the fence... Other places are:

    http://www.gunsamerica.com/
Your local gun shop may buy it back, but generaly, you can get a better price with a private sale.

Also, does anyone know what the laws are regarding me selling the AK-47? Can I just meet with a buyer face to face, and do the transaction, or do I need to be in front of an official? Is there some type of paperwork that needs to be filled out in order to sell this rifle? Any help would be great, folks. Thanks!

ps. I would be selling it in PA only, if that helps.

For a rifle in PA, ftf sell. They give you cash, you give em a gun.

handguns are different though-they must be done at a FFL.

The very best way would be to send me a PM with a ridiculously low price. BTW, this proven method has been shown to be 100% successful and works with all type of firearms, not just the AK

Yes, in PA you can do a face to face rifle transaction. What I usually do though is for both me and the buyer is to print out a self made form of my name, address, phone number and let the buyer see my drivers licence to verify that I am who I say I am. I ask the same in return from the buyer. Then, we both sign the document stating serial number, make, model etc and we each have a copy of proof of the transaction. That way, everyone is covered. I also ask for this when I buy guns from individuals face to face to protect myself as I have no reasonable way of proving that the gun is not stolen. I'm not overly suspicious of anyone, I just think it is good due diligence.

Yeah, but you are putting more restrictions on yourself then does the State. Law says that FTF is ok. The rest is your option.

In PA you can even mail the long arm to another in-state resident. The sale need not be face-to-face.
