This class is designed for individuals who carry concealed or intend to carry concealed and are seeking self defense skills for their everyday environment.

We will meet at the first parking lot at 9:00am and proceed to our range.

PREREQUISETS:

All students must be able to successfully maintain all shooting safety fundamentals. Working to and from and shooting from a holster a plus, but not mandatory.

The class curriculum contains:
1.Basic pistol safety fundamentals.
2.Range safety, orientation and proper range protocol.
3. Shooting fundamentals (grip, stance, breath control, trigger control, hold control, sight picture and sight alignment, follow through).
4. Drawing from concealment
5. Dry fire / live fire drills.
6. Malfunctions and stoppages.
7. Reloading techniques.
8. Hand to hand basics
9. Reality based defense drills and techniques.
10. Strong hand and weak hand shooting.
11. Accuracy and speed development drills.
12. Engaging multiple targets.
13. Retention and disarms
14. Close quarter drills
15. Low light pistol drills
16. Team tactics
17. Gear selection.

EQUIPMENT LISTS:
All students must bring:
1. Semi-automatic pistol or revolver of their choice.
2. Minimum of 400 rounds of brass cased ammunition (no steel cased ammo).
3. Quality eye and ear protection.
4. Two magazines minimum with magazine carriers/pouch, etc.
5. Pistol / caliber specific cleaning supplies or kit.
6. Sturdy belt and strong side holster. Please no Flimsy, dangling or cloth holsters. Leather, IWB, or Kydex preferred.
7. Surefire or similar hand held LED flashlight.
8. Minimum 5 dummy rounds.
9. Everyday carry or pocket / belt clip folding knife.
10. Concealment vest or jacket.
11. Sweatshirt or hoodie or button up “concealment” style shirt.
12. An open mind, humble, willing to learn attitude!

ADDITIONAL INFO:
This course is limited to 10 students only. First 10 to buy tickets will attend.

Women's classes available.
Pistol permit classes, Utah, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Florida, Virginia, Arizona, Massachusetts non-resident carry permit classes available.
