SBr stock length with Magpul MOE
Looking to finish my first SBR. I'd like to use a 6 position mil spec buffer tube and a Mapul MOE stock. Does anyone have one and if so could you tell me the max length From butt to receiver? Thanks!!

Re: SBr stock length with Magpul MOE
its an adjustable stock, it doesnt know what receiver its mounted to and the MOE has the same length adjustment regardless, they can start from 10 - 10.25 inches or so collapsed, and almost all extended end up right around 14.5-14.75 inches..
depending on how far into the receiver the tube is screwed..Last edited by ghost183; May 25th, 2015 at 10:36 PM.

Re: SBr stock length with Magpul MOE
Do yourself a favor and skip the MOE stock. Pick up a B5 stock, Bravo if you want to watch your pennies and the SOPMOD Enhanced if budget is not an issue. The B5 is tighter on the buffer tube, has better cheek weld and feel better. My B5 enhanced is slightly shorter fully collapsed than my ACS-L. Though I believe the MOE stock is shorter than the ACS-L by a bit.
Magpul ACS-L - 8 1/2"
B5 SOPMOD - 7 15/16""
Both measurements are from the back of the lower receiver (not the back of the buffer tube plate) to the point on the butt of the stock that sticks out the most. Both locked into hole #1 on the buffer tube.Last edited by dkf; May 27th, 2015 at 04:41 PM.

If you have a 10.5 barrel the OAL is 29.5 inches. Make the adjustments accordingly in regards to your exact barrel length.
