H&R 929 Sidekick

I have a H&R 929 Sidekick.I would appreciate any information on it such as date of manufacture etc. Also is there a owners manual available for it?

H&R made various target and sporting revolvers from about 1955-1985. people i know have the sidekick, having bought theirs in the late 70's for about $125, which is about what they bring on the used market, today.

I would think you would be able to get the manual though H&R.

H&R started making various revolvers well before 1955, but I believe the 929 was made from 1956 to 1986.

A serial starting with "S" should be from 1958.

You could try contacting H&R for the manual, but keep in mind that the H&R of today is technically not the same company who made your revolver. I believe Marlin purchased the H&R name at some point.
