    Default Taurus 9mm PT92AFS Stainless

I've never been a fan of Taurus semi's since buying one many years ago and experiencing what others have said about quality - stopped going bang after just a few rounds.
But I have heard their 92's are pretty much Beretta clones made on Beretta equipment in an old Beretta plant, and their 1911's not being bad either.
One of my usual places has nib Taurus PT92AFS in stainless steel for $389 - and they do free 90 day layaway if you like ( no, not Buds or lgs ). Seems like a good price from what I can see ? A little flashy, but then again, a little flashy is ok every now and then If interested, shoot me a pm, I'm not sure if I'll grab it or how many they have - if I don't buy, it's all yours

owned one years ago. every bit as reliable as a beretta...lot cheaper.

the safety is in a different location. taurus location is a bit more user friendly.

the trigger spring was a little different if I remember right.

The PT92 was the pistol I learned to shoot on my brother still has it uses it as a training pistol in his classes. It He has the AF model with well over 6k rounds through it and it still runs like a champ.

The Taurus location is the original Beretta 92 location. It was the Beretta 92S that moved it to the slide, "S=Slide position safety".

I've had a 92C for 23 years. love it. Great gun, always goes bang and it's accurate.

This model Taurus would be the only gun made by Taurus that I would buy.

I've heard nothing but very good reports about the Taurus PT 92 series.

92 Taurus mags work in the beretta 92,but the beretta mags wont work in the taurus.Bought one in the 1980s for $189 and it was soaked in what I called brazilian tree oil, smelled great almost good enough to eat and the Taurus never failed once and ate all ammo. Jump on that deal. JMO/MDT

Dude, do you know what all you've posted over last 6 mos? Your head prolly looks like a pin cushion by now.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
