State law (or Pa. Code) never said you couldn't. Pa. Code required that the casinos prohibit such, but the State AG said that exceeded the state agency's authority once the UFA was most recently revised.

Right now the casinos can prohibit carry, but only as a private property owner (i.e., please leave or we'll have you cited for defiant trespass).

I noticed that the local Pittsburgh casino changed it signs a while ago. They used to go on an on about the Gaming Commission about prohibiting firearms, and now it just says they are not allowed.

I don't carry there because I don't want to be BANNED, in addition to simply being told to leave. Being banned would just suck.

It would, but the risk of being shot/stabbed/assaulted in the parking lot on the way out in my opinion are worth the risk. I view casinos as a high priority target for criminals since they know theres a good chance that people walking out have decent amounts of cash on them potentially..

Yeah, it's kind of an issue. You can alleviate it by using the valet parking though.

While I don't gamble at a casino I agree that it is worth the risk. For those that do not think it could be an issue look at the guy in Philly that was followed home from the casino and robbed of $10,000 in cash.

The local casino is one of the few redeeming features of the area I live in. It has completely eliminated my need to spend money on airfare to go to Vegas. That gives me a bigger bankroll at the craps table (:

I don't gamble, but I'd sure as hell want my pistol there as much as any other place. More nanny state BS sponsored by our Democrat governor.

Not many shootouts at casinos in the news recently...
