Taking a gun to another country
Wife wants to vacation somewhere out of country. I did a bunch of internet searching and for the life of me cannot find any country where I could take/ carry my gun. I am pretty sure no such place exists. Anyone happen to know if there is a country where I could go and carry my gun?

If their is a problem you are totally screwed.
US embassy is of no help.
Find a lawyer bring big bucks.
Your in a foreign jail.
Leave the gun homeI'd rather have a gun in my hand then a cop on the phone.

I am originally from Canada, living in the US now and was given huge attitude even when we didn't have any guns with us!
The Canadian border agent upon finding out we have guns at home, was threatening and angry. Imagine dealing with him "with guns" ahhhhhhhh
No pepper spray either !!

There are a number of countries that are not rubble-strewn war zones or filled with tribal savages that you could carry eventually. Unfortunately, I think most will want residency and an in-country process.
One that comes to mind where you might be able to carry if you go there for a vacation is India. I forget if they want you to plan for residency (2 years) or not but a non-citizen can bring and carry guns there if applied for in advance.

Vacation? In another country and still carry your gun? Umm...there are states I won't go where the same 2nd Amendment I live under in PA is supposed to apply as well.
I typically don't even like leaving the state. And even staying in state, you must avoid Philly or else you could be in big trouble there, too.
Forget it. Either leave the gun at home or stay home yourself.Last edited by SwampFoxZ71; May 16th, 2015 at 05:46 PM.
I forgot how much I missed the slang from the 70's and 80's: "Bite me, dig?"

You may want to look into Argentina.
I think they even issue temporary carry permit to visitors.
