Re: Communists are at it again, they want to ban online Ammo Sales
Exactly my point. The ghetto rats don't buy ammo by the case.
Back in the olden days (when I was into shooting the first time) I would resupply a couple of boxes each time. Kids were little and I was poor. Now it is easier and faster to stockpile.
Plus we didn't have internet back in the '70's.My Feedback - http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.ph...ight=stainless

Re: Communists are at it again, they want to ban online Ammo Sales
California:
No ammunition feeding devices over 10 rounds. No Tracer or Incendiary ammunition.
**Note, metal machine gun links are considered "feeding devices" so we cannot ship links of any quantity as they could easily be made into capacities over the limit.
- Los Angeles City No ammunition shipments.
- Marin County CCW card must be faxed / emailed (on file) for ammunition purchase.
- Oakland No ammunition shipments.
- San Francisco No "prohibited" ammunition (Black Talon or similar brands).
New Jersey:
FPID card must be faxed / e-mailed. (on file). No ammunition feeding devices over 15 rounds.
**Note, metal machine gun links are considered "feeding devices" so we cannot ship links of any quantity as they could easily be made into capacities over the limit.
So it's not about protecting thier constituents because they are already protected.
They are just looking out for all of the people who are stuck in red states.

Re: Communists are at it again, they want to ban online Ammo Sales
Here's what gets me about this bill, you know that they consider 1,000 rounds a "stockpile". Now how many people in the US have 1,000 rounds of ammo in their house? That number has to be at least in the 100,000's if not millions. So what good does it do to know who has that much ammo? I'd bet that in all the mass shootings in US history nobody has shot more than a hundred or so rounds.

Maybe they're angry that hoarders are buying up all the 22lr? Yeah, that's the ticket.

Re: Communists are at it again, they want to ban online Ammo Sales
I figure I've got roughly 3,000-3,500 assembled rounds between my .45 and Mrs.K's 9mm, and enough powder, primers and boolits for another 1,500-2,000 more .45 - just have to save my cases.
Once I have my small shelves built for my reloading bench everything but the tumbler and the press will fit in less than 2 square feet of bench-top. In other words - not very much, really...
