Re: Conceal carry in church.
Why is this even a question? Of course you should. And the grocery store, the park, the street. Why would a church not be a place where evil might occur?
Right of citizens to bear arms ...shall not be questioned.

Re: Conceal carry in church.
I live by simple rules, this reduces the time I have to waste thinking about stuff.
Take turns.
Say "please" and "thank you"
Flush.
Wash your hands.
Be armed.
If I'm outta the house, I'm armed.

Re: Conceal carry in church.
I suppose I should clarify my original statement somewhat. When I carry in church I do CC. Usually I carry a full size 1911 OWB with a suit coat. I don't even own a sub compact because I'm not very accurate with one nor are they comfortable in my hand. I have very large hands. My glove size is XLG.

Re: Conceal carry in church.
I've heard so many times that carrying is a god given right that I see no reason not to carry to church. Obvious exception if its posted or someone of authority tells you not to.

I carry in church because on rare occasions bad things happen there.

Re: Conceal carry in church.
I was once ask why I carry a gun in church by an assistant of the pastor. I answered this way, "The Lord is my Shepard. I guess the makes the pastor an assistant Shepard. In that case I'm acting as a sheepdog protecting the flock."

Re: Conceal carry in church.
I started shooting 2 years ago and never gave this any thought. Today, things are different. Thanks to Mr. Obama, our country's security is a disgraceful mess so now I CC just about everywhere, including church. I pray for guidance and good judgement every day to help keep me and everyone around me safe. It's a very last resort and I really don't want to have to use it. God created the thugs, too. It's not His fault they chose to go down the wrong path.
