Re: EDC Flashlights. Who carries one and which brand/model?
I carry that exact light you posted in the OP. I absolutely love it. It's my 2nd Streamlight and the thing takes a hell of a beating. The batteries last longer than you'd think, and I use mine at least once a day.

I have 2 of those exact streamlights you are looking at. They are really great for the money. Lately I have been carrying a surefire p2x fury defender.
I prefer the surefire for its 500 lumens.FOAC Member, NRA Member

Re: EDC Flashlights. Who carries one and which brand/model?
I have all of the AAA and AA Streamlights. Battery life is good, the Pro-tac series is programmable for the sequence of outputs (you can do any combo of dim/bright/strobe). There are two tail switches in the Streamlights of this size, the smaller rubber button is tougher to engage but works fine.
I use the 2AA pro-tac at work and the Michrostream for EDC. Best thing is, no expensive, uncommon CR123 batteries.
Only thing I don't like about them is the pocket clip is not super secure to the body of the lights. If you are hard on stuff clipped to your belt/pockets, it will probably fly off at some point.
I bend/break at least 4-5 pocket clips on my knives every year so I am probably not the normal user though.

At work I carry a coleman ultra max 200 lumen. it has a lower setting think it is 110 lumen. when used for close work it is almost to bright.
The plus is it uses two aa batteries, which work supplies.troll Free. It's all in your mind.
