Late yesterday afternoon, I said ' let's try another vid'. I had my checklist in hand for setting up the video and shooting. Well I got the potatoes and veggies, but the meat came up 'file error'. That was on the shot at the chuck. The camera did nothing wrong, it had to be guy pushing the buttons. That would be ME !
A pre-written script does not work real well out in the field. What worked real well is that .204. I just parked my truck on the farmer's access road to his fields. I was going to hunt up to the left along a wood line. After walking about 35 to 40 yards on the road, I caught color up to the right. I did not have my .204 loaded at that point. Here is where the script deteriorates. I made the shot---you just will not see it, but you get to meet the fossil in the video. That .204 is incredible. Just center the hairs and game over.

Thanks guys----Had my best day today since the operation----Full time chuck hunting in a few weeks.

THE TEST----I thought that this would be challenged by now. Go look at the film where I said I shot from and where the chuck got dinged. My truck should be the focal point. The angle could be deceiving.

Was that shot 180, like I said in the film, or give me another number !

A hint----not close to 180.-------'BLESS that .204
