    Default 44 special help

    hey guys and gals
im trying to help out my uncle. I recently found out he has a Charter Arms Bulldog in .44spl but has no ammo for it. hes 76 and doesn't get around that great so shooting hasn't been a priority for quite awhile but after talking to me about some of my guns and shooting in general he'd like to take his Bulldog out for a walk.

so my question is can anyone recommend a shop (online or in montco/philly) that I could pick some up for him? any brand to keep an eye out for?

    thanks in advance.

Online, Underwood ammo has the best price I could find. They even sell a 44spl load specifically for the Bulldog

Have you tried King's Shooter Supply or French Creek Outfitters? I was up at Cabela's last weekend and they seemed to have a lot of it.

PowderRiver.com 100rds @ .70 per round shipped. Cheaper than Cabelas and no fuel costs.

^^ Some good options there and SGammo is a good company. Ordered from them many times. The Magtech will be good plinking ammo and either of the Hornadys will be fine against two legged bastards.
