    Default City Hall restrictions

I guess my searching skills are failing me, because I'm pretty sure that this has been nailed down already. I need to visit Philadelphia City Hall - specifically, the Register of Wills office. Can I do that while CC'ing? Is this outside of the "metal detector" zone, or will I need to check my sidearm across the street?

they make you unlawfully go across the street to the criminal justice center.

913e is clear that the lockers have to be at or within the building.

I even contacted the law department. the city concurred there not in compliance in writing to me but basically said "sue us" if you want.

I just haven't had the funds to file a mandamus action

Just to follow up: the offices like the Register of Wills are outside of the secured area. No metal detector or any sort of screening - just walk in the door.

Just freshening this answer for those who search...

As of Jan 2018, the Register of Wills office is outside of the secure area and I was able to visit without having to check my firearm.
