    Default Night sights installed

    Hi
I have 2 guns id like to get night sights installed on
    1. S&W bodyguard 380 without laser id like to put the XS big dot on.
    2. Kahr CM9 id like to put Trijicon night sights on

Anyone know a gunsmith or gun shop that does night sight installs near Yardley/ Morrisville 19067 area? i live about 15 minuted from Ready Aim Fire and dont really wanna travel any further than Tanners which is about 35 minutes. Also curious if anyone has these guns with night sights and what they think. I appreciate all comments and info. Thanks
    Jim

Do you have the sights, or would the smith need to obtain or have them?

If you have a punch and a vise, I imagine you can install them yourself if you're so inclined (youtube has lots of "how to's").

I got a set of the XS big dot sights on a gun in a trade and I personally don't like them. I don't feel like I'm any faster aquiring a target with them, but I certainly am noticably less accurate with them. I'm personally a fan of the i-dot sights, and I'd suggest trying any of them out if possible before you drop $100+ on the new sight sets.

Some firearms are very difficult to remove old sights...IE SA XD series...I have a sight pusher and it was still very difficult to remove/installed.

If you know you are going to need to have multiple NS to install, I'd say invest in a good sight pusher. Learn a skill in the process.

If you only have a couple of pistols...pay someone with the proper tools to do the right job.
