FNX 45 (although they did just have a recall on some of the trigger bars...) just based on looks alone.

HK USP 45T based on function/trigger. One of the best triggers I've ever had the chance to fondle.
I'm only here for the wood c-rings.

Not affiliated in any way, but an FNX for $650 is a screaming deal....

Same price I'd take the HK.

IMO, the SIG P227 is the hands-down winner of the three.

I've never picked up a P220-P225/P6-P227-P226-P228-P229 that I could not hit consistently at that which I was aiming, and if on paper the groups were very small.

I've found H&K triggers to be somewhat inconsistent, and although the FN looks sleek, it doesn't fit my hand as well as a SIG from the P-series listed above.

I was at the local club indoor range one evening this past winter when a few PSP Troop C troopers were qualifying with their new P227s and one of them offered his to me to try, using my ammo. He was interested in shooting my S&W M&P45c 8-shot compact, and SIG Ultra Compact 1911. He did really well with the SIG UC, as nearly everyone does who shoots it, and I fired the best group of anyone shooting the P227s, but I have more P-series SIG trigger time than any of the troopers present.

The SIG will likely be more $$$ than the FN, and may be comparable to the HK in price, give or take. But the SIG is well proven and understood, dating back to the mid/late 1970s in the first P220.

    Count me in with Splittie.

I haven't handled the 227 yet, but if they're as good as my 226 & 228, then that would be my pick.

Sig p227 because it has no manual safety. If I didn't care about the safety then the HK.
