Hellertown/Saucon Rail Trail

So, for any of those with a photographic memory, a few years ago there was a big to do, before the big preemption-strengthening law, about Hellertown not following state law with their signs for the trail etc etc...
fast forward three years, and a direct warning from their solicitor, the signs remain unchanged.

I'm proposing a trail oc/cc clean up to kinda bring the issue out into the light. I'm figuring 4-6 weeks from now, meet up, walk, pick up trash, and educate anyone who asks, politely and intelligently.

Thoughts/questions/comments/concerns?

I believe they have a clean-up scheduled for Saturday AM. 0900hrs-1200hrs

I don't know about this trail, but please note that portions of many "open to the public" trails go through private land and land owned by various local, state and Federal agencies.

Since the trails are open, there are no 'borders' to indicate when you are stepping across property lines.

I've previously checked with Police, while the trail does abut private land, the trail itself is public.
