    Default Probation + Carrying...

Ive had my carrying permit for about 6 months, i filed right when i turned 21. It took two weeks because the background check lead to an investigation (i think most likly because of minor trouble in my youth days, all charges were exponged though) I had a few small run-ins while in high school as any child would, but i havent seen, done, nor even thought of breaking any laws for years now.

Anyways, i may be in a situation right now that may put me on probation. I have done much research, and what i may be put on probation for is a Misdemneor in the 3rd degree, and it not on the list of offences that can bar you from getting your permit. So if for whatever reason, the truth doesnt prevail, what happens when i get on probation? ( and after i got off if that applies)

The perlimary trial is in a few weeks, and most the charges against me were dropped right away (they were outragously untrue) so im hoping this one might be dropped also. It sucks i have to pay the 3 grand for a lawyer for something that i am not at fault for. But thats the wonderful law in america right?

    THANKS!

    DO NOT GIVE DETAILS!!!!!!

I know it sounds stupid, but you don't want a memorialization of the facts if you're facing trial.

You can, however, disclose the name of the charged offense. This'll give us a better idea of what you're looking at.

And don't say what you're likely to plead it down to -- we can figure that out. Just say what the charged offense is, and nothing more.

As much as I'd like to know details, we can wait until the trial is over.

So of us were lucky enough (or smart enough) not to get caught :P

Plus, I think the times have changed -- the stuff I pulled in high school 15+ years ago, then, would have (if caught) have resulted in an eyeroll (and perhaps, if they were called) a smack from whatever officer responded.

These days they arrest kids for smoking. God knows what they do to you for egging or TPing, or any of that other nonsense.

I think our highschool had a 50% success rate. Cathedral Prep for those of you who are local. Thats what ya get from an all boys private school. But thats why everyone had the big bucks, to buy their way outta trouble.
