Re: NFA Engraving in PA
I asked about bringing a couple Polymer80 frames to Sensibly Armed on Saturday for engraving.
"Sorry we are not able at this time to do engraving."
Unsure of exactly what that meant, because their website says they do engraving. I asked if it was just the weekend that was the problem.
"Sorry we are not doing engraving."
I'm going to try calling Rodriguez Engraving tomorrow.

Re: NFA Engraving in PA
This is where I would go again.

They did two of mine.
I just set up an appointment, walked in and waited a few minutes, both of them came out perfect.Last edited by :-); July 5th, 2019 at 07:53 PM.

Re: NFA Engraving in PA
We would be glad to handle your NFA engraving for you. We actually used to do Sensibly Armed engraving a few years ago before they got their own machine. Give us a call and make an appointment that works for you and we’ll do it. Usually takes about 15-20 minutes. 610-970-2900 if you are out of the area we do have an FFL and you can send it also if that’s easier. Thanks. Steve at Laserworx. Downtown Pottstown

Re: NFA Engraving in PA
I went to Laserworx about a month ago, but they were busy that day, and didn't have time for me. Because my receivers were completed 80% frames without serial numbers, they couldn't book them in. I needed to have them engraved while I waited. I should have called first and made an appointment. The drive there was kind of a pain, and I didn't particularly want to do it again.
I called Clayton's, and was told that their engraver works Tuesdays and Thursdays after 6 p.m.. I have to be at work at 5:30 a.m., so that wasn't really going to work. Kinda sucks, since they are the closest shop.
I finally got the frames engraved at Rodriguez Engraving last weekend. The shop is not far from the Classic Pistol shop/range, which I've been to a bunch of times. He charged me $65 and change to engrave the small plates molded into the P80 frames, which I thought was quite fair. I guess it's not laser engraving, he said something about a diamond bit. I waited about an hour. I was playing a poker app, and didn't pay too much attention to the exact time.Removed NRA Life Member pic. LaPierre and Chris Cox are ruining NRA.
